A Qualification Specialist talks with you to confirm that you meet the basic requirements for becoming a Church’s Franchisee.
As a qualified candidate, you will receive a Church’s application and Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). To confirm receipt you will be asked to return a signed Receipt Acknowledgement form that is included with the FDD.
The application process includes a background check and review of your finances.
This in-person interview/observation provides you with a greater understanding of the Church’s franchise system and helps us develop a greater understanding of your overall goals. You will visit an operating Church’s Chicken restaurant with one of our Regional Franchise Director, which helps in developing and refining your business plan.
A Development Agreement is drafted and signed giving you the rights to develop a minimum of 3 restaurants within a designated geographic area and with a specific time frame for future development.
Each new franchisee attends a New Franchisee Orientation Program (NFOP), designed to introduce you to every aspect of opening and operating your restaurant. The program includes resource tools and informational meetings with key department heads.
You are paired with a Church’s Development Director who helps you find and submit sites for Church’s to approve in a formal Site Acceptance Request. Within 30 day of receipt, Church’s will provide written notice if your Site Acceptance Request has been approved.
During the design stage you will hire an architect. Church’s will work with you and your architect in the initial design and layout of your restaurant.
You will be responsible for the site adaptation. A dedicated Church’s Construction Manager will help oversee the construction process.
For each restaurant that you open, 2 on-site managers must complete Church’s 5-week management training program in a designated training restaurant.
Church’s Regional Franchise Directors/Managers provide you on site operations support during the initial opening of your restaurant.
Church’s Field Marketing team will help you plan and promote your Grand Opening.
